Cancellation & Refund Policy

Simple cancellation rules, statutory consumer rights, and a trust-first 30-day satisfaction refund.

1. Scope

This policy covers CruisesUnlocked paid memberships and digital services, including Cruise Club and Shortlist. It does not cover the cruise holiday itself. Cruise bookings are subject to the cruise line, travel agent, or booking partner’s own terms.

2. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel future renewals through the account billing portal or by emailing deals@cruisesunlocked.ie.

Cancellation stops the next renewal. Unless a refund is issued, membership access normally continues until the end of the period already paid for.

3. 30-day satisfaction refund

For first-time paid members, we offer a 30-day satisfaction refund. If you try Cruise Club or Shortlist and it is not useful for you, email us within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund that first payment.

This is in addition to any statutory rights you have under Irish or EU consumer law.

4. Renewals

Renewals are generally non-refundable once a new billing period starts, unless there was a clear billing mistake, duplicate charge, technical failure, or another situation where a refund is fair or legally required.

5. EU/Irish 14-day cancellation rights

Consumers in Ireland and the EU may have a 14-day right to cancel online digital service contracts. If you ask us to begin providing the digital service immediately during that period, you may still be entitled to cancel, but we may deduct a proportionate amount for services already provided where the law allows.

Because we also offer the 30-day satisfaction refund for first-time paid members, early members have a practical refund route that is broader than the basic 14-day period.

6. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method through Stripe. We aim to process approved refunds promptly. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to show the refund.

7. Travel bookings and supplier payments

CruisesUnlocked membership fees are separate from any cruise holiday, deposit, insurance, excursion, flight, hotel, or supplier payment. Supplier cancellation charges and booking conditions are outside this policy.

8. How to request help

Email deals@cruisesunlocked.ie with the account email, plan name, and what happened. We will handle it directly.
