1. Current position

CruisesUnlocked runs on a privacy-light setup: essential cookies for account access and checkout, server-side operational logs, first-party event records, Vercel Web Analytics for basic page-view measurement, and Vercel Speed Insights for site performance measurement. We do not load marketing cookies, retargeting pixels, or advertising tags unless a consent banner and consent storage are in place.

2. Essential cookies

Essential cookies and similar storage may be used to keep the site secure, remember account sessions, process checkout, prevent abuse, and make forms work. These are necessary for the service and do not require marketing consent.

Supabase authentication/session cookies where account login is used.
Stripe checkout/session technology when you start or complete payment.
Security, load balancing, and hosting technology from providers such as Vercel or Cloudflare.

3. Analytics and product measurement

The site may record first-party events such as deal clicks, outbound clicks, page source, referrer, IP address, user agent, and timestamps to understand deal performance, affiliate reporting, and service reliability.

Vercel Web Analytics may collect privacy-focused page-view information without setting analytics cookies. We use it to understand which pages are being visited and whether launch pages are working.

Vercel Speed Insights may collect privacy-focused performance information such as page load and Core Web Vitals signals. We use it to spot slow pages and production performance issues.

If we add analytics cookies, advertising pixels, cross-site tracking, or marketing tags, we will ask for consent before those optional tools run.

4. Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies, retargeting pixels, advertising tags, and similar tracking stay disabled unless the visitor has actively consented. Rejecting optional cookies does not block access to the site.

5. Managing cookies

You can control cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop account login, checkout, or preference forms from working correctly.

When optional analytics cookies or marketing cookies are introduced, this page will link to a visible cookie preferences control where consent can be changed as easily as it was given.
